Registration and abstract submissions are now open!

Are you a student or research trainee doing cool research in biophysics or a related field (biology, computational modelling, genetics, nanotechnology, physics, and beyond)? Present your work at FiB 2026! Whether you're an undergraduate student, research assistant, graduate student, or post-doc, we'd love to see or hear about your research in poster format or as a 10-minute talk!

Abstract submissions are currently open and accepted via registration through our Eventbrite portal. Abstract submissions are accepted until end of day, Wednesday, June 24.

FiB 2026 is accepting two presentation formats this year. You may present your work either as a:

​

  • Research poster

  • 10-minute talk

​

You will have the opportunity to indicate your preferred presentation format(s) during the registration/abstract submission process through the Eventbrite portal.

Abstract submissions are done via registration through our Eventbrite portal. To submit an abstract, please register for the event. You will be prompted during registration to submit your abstract by providing:

​

  1. Title

  2. Abstract (350 words max)

​

Poster boards to which you can affix your poster will be provided day of at the venue. Poster boards will have 36 x 48 inches of usable space. For posters, landscape is preferred over portrait .

Oral presentations will consist of a 10-minute talk followed by up to 5 minutes of questions, open to the audience.
